I’m ten days into my new mini-habit of writing at least 50 words per day. Happy to report that I’ve easily hit this goal, and enjoyed the process. As anticipated by Stephen’s post on Tiny Buddha, this very easy to reach goal has got my writing in motion, and led to doing much more than 50 words most days. Writing near the start of each day also helps me begin feeling more creative and focused, another great benefit.
Based on the success of this first habit, I’m ready to add a second one. Though I’m not publishing each day’s writing, this mini-habit does have me blogging more consistently. This will be the fourth published post since I started this ten days ago (including my Cooking Chat blog). To make blogging more worthwhile, engaging with other bloggers is a natural. Thus, my second mini-habit will be to engage with at least one blogger each day I’m online (i.e. every day but Sunday). Ready, set, go!
